Survival Similar in Late, Early Diagnosed Neuroendocrine Neoplasms
Patients diagnosed with neuroendocrine neoplasms during later periods did not appear to experience better overall survival compared with patients diagnosed at an earlier time. In a study of 3,431 patients, older age at diagnosis, male sex, and stage 4 disease were linked with worse survival.
